Very beautiful but demanding tour. Lots of gravel, more of a high mountain tour in terms of the requirement for sure-footedness and a head for heights. More on the shady side of the mountain. (Please note that there was a route error due to the Komoot replanning and the path we were supposed to take

Very nice tour, no gorge this time. Depending on the starting point, 7-10 km possible. After about 1 hour, a nice place to rest on a rock plateau on the other side. 50 m detour from the path.
The beach is OK.
Afternoon tour, after we visited the Wednesday market in Agios Nikolaos in the morning.

A modified tour from a hiking guide. Originally to the coast to see the lower part of the Sarakinas Gorge. Now as a circular tour from Mithi with the highlight of the Sarakinas Gorge almost at the end.
Sarakinas Gorge, the upper part is very beautiful, but not easy. Right from the start - I wouldn't walk

Beautiful tour, especially the part along the stream is almost fairytale-like in a fairy-tale landscape. Lots of moss. Paths are sometimes very wet. Easily doable for experienced hikers

Partly walking on the street and possible steep stairs. You then swallow some of the dust that is kicked up.
Bus ride expensive by Peru standards 12 USD in 2024, one way - still recommended.
We got there via the Inca Trail and the Sun Gate. Simply fantastic.

The path down along the water is mostly rocky and unmarked. But you can't miss the direction. Very strenuous and warm, despite starting at 8 a.m. At times, it's more like climbing than hiking down by the water. But it's beautiful and recommended. If you prefer an easier route, just do the path along
