Tierfreigelände im Nationalparkzentrum Falkenstein
Rundweg durch das Tierfreigehege Falkenstein. Leider heute nur die Urrinder (Auerochsen) und die Urpferde (Przewalski Pferde) gesehen. Bei Luchs und Wolf nur die Spuren im Schnee entdeckt. Wege winterlich, aber begehbar. Tolles Haus zur Wildnis mit Gastronomie und vielen Interaktivitäten für Jung und Alt. Großer Parkplatz mit Gebühr oder Anreise mit der Waldbahn.

Schneeschuhwandern am Großen Arber
Wunderschöne Schneeschuhwandern bei traumhaftem Wetter am Großen Arber. Start war in Brennes (hab leider komoot zu spät eingeschaltet) und es ging gut gemütlich zum Einlaufen los. Mit Frank und Sandra hatten wir gute Schneeschuh -Guides die uns auf teils unberührten Pfaden durch herrliches Gelände führten. Ich darf nicht verschweigen, dass es auch mal steil nach unten (gar nicht soo einfach) und auch teils stetig bergauf ging (musste sehr schnaufen, ich fand es anstrengend), aber alles in Allem super schön! Kurzer Einkehrschwung in der urigen Leons Arberhütte, bevor es schön komoot runter zum Ausgangspunkt ging!

The tour was very forest-focused, but not too monotonous. We took a short walk around Baabe. We ate a fish sandwich at the Seeräuber restaurant on the beach. We walked along the beach and then back through a beautiful blueberry forest.

A lovely hike to Seedorf via Moritzdorf. We took the rowing ferry (well, it was a small motorboat) across the lake to Moritzdorf. We then walked along the lakeside path to Seedorf. From there, we returned across the plain above. Unfortunately, the Moritzdorf restaurant was full. The view over Lake Sellin

Unfortunately, the route continues along a bike path (which is practically the only path) around the headland. Once you get there, there's no breathtaking beach to look forward to. The highlight was the fish sandwich at Having Hof and, of course, the beautiful weather. On the way home, we took a detour

A beautiful hike through the Göhren Forest to the easternmost tip of Rügen. Arriving in Göhren, we walked along the beautiful beach on the south coast. From the campsite, walk along the beach to the Bug peninsula. From there, you not only have a good view of Hiddensee, but you'll also find a small former East German Navy military base. Hidden away is a memorial to those who died in the winter of 1945/46 due to flight, hunger, exhaustion, and typhus.

We made our first exploratory tour from the Ostseeblick campsite to the pier in Dranske and then back to the Baltic Sea side on the beautiful natural beach.

We chose this route after the dreary, gray weather because it's mostly sunny, although the forest path has its charms too. You pass through several villages with excellent restaurants, some of which are housed in very old buildings.
