A shortened circular route via the Geltinger Birk forest, which bypasses the villages but still showcases the most beautiful features. Do you know Kreten? A plum variety that grows there (jelly is available at the worthwhile kiosk). Charlotte windmill, fantastic scenery, and rich birdlife. Great!

First, we headed to a narrow sandbank, then across Gendarmstien with a magnificent view along the fjord. Then, along Frueskovvej, up into the "Sonderhavsskovene" beech forest, with its isolated giant oaks and small stream valleys. Peaceful nature with beautiful ponds scattered throughout. Very rewarding

A beautiful, well-maintained, and valuable nature reserve...a delight not only for nature lovers. And: no paved paths (as is often the case), so it's not suitable for strollers, etc.

From the parking lot in Exhöft, the trail first leads to the beach along a road. The coast itself is fantastic! A small nature conservation station provides information. The trail then returns through beautiful forest to the road.
