Beautiful, very varied tour with great views of the Rur valley. Narrow, rocky trails alternate with soft forest paths. A great circular route for slowing down.

Great Sunday family walk with children and dogs as a circular route with start and finish at the forest cemetery in Meckenheim. Very varied landscapes - narrow, rustic and shady forest paths, but also open, wide and sunny fields. In between the Grimmersdorfer Hof (unfortunately closed until July 2021

The round on the direct lakeside path is recommended. Very natural path with many places to linger by the lake. Also very nice path for dog owners. Only now and then a mountain biker ... The only annoying thing is the increasing number of "wild toilets". It seems that people hardly have "quiet places" at home ...!?
