Fantastic tour. Finally completed the 40 km journey to Chiavenna by racing bike. Splügenpass to Madesimo, the goal of the 20th Giro stage 2021, uphill was pure enjoyment in the best weather. Only the last 40 km drive home was really hard with, at least what felt like, a brutal headwind. I'm already looking

Today was another highlight. The Splügen Pass from the south. From the center of Chiavenna it will be interesting to climb. Well trained, the pass is really fun. Today was a grand tour on sacred terrain for Italian cyclists. From Bellagio we went up the SP41 to Madonna del Ghisallo. Halfway through, a cyclist from Club Canturino caught up with me and I went on the tour from there. Once at the top, we took a short break at the chapel and the museum. Then the descent

Gigantic tour that I have planned for a long time. However, I still have to fine-tune the approach to the Alb, because racing cycling over the Fildern is simply not fun. Lots of traffic, bike paths over hill and dale around every tree, plus a traffic light every 50 m. There has to be a nicer approach
