I took advantage of today's hot day for a short, but at times challenging, ride through the Augustinerwald forest. The best sections (both ascents and descents) were in the shady forest, where the temperature was pleasant. I'm very happy with the ride.

It would be a mortal sin not to use today's day off to go cycling. I chose the Vienna Hill Trail loop on Komoot. A varied tour through paved roads, forest paths, trails with gravel, roots, and rocks, and a bit of mud—it had everything. It was a real up and down, hence the whopping 1,300 meters of elevation

I had to take advantage of the nice weather. So I chose the Graverunde to Manhartsbrunn on Komoot. It was a very pleasant ride, with three easy climbs and a few technically easy trails. I took a nice break at the slope flying area in Stetten, where I could enjoy the panoramic view. It was a beautiful loop.

After yesterday's thunderstorm, I thought the forest and woodland paths might still be too wet and muddy for a gravel ride. So I opted for the classic road bike route. Since I don't have a road bike, a gravel bike was fine.

An easy, leisurely, and relaxing ride to Kreuzenstein Castle via the Danube Island. Considering it was a weekday, there were quite a few cyclists on the island.

An autumnal ride to Greifenstein. Not too cold, not too warm, a slight tailwind at first, but a headwind on the way back. Nevertheless, a lovely ride; I even saw a bit of sunshine in Greifenstein 😁
