Beautiful view over Hildesheim. Solid paths, easy to walk. Wildgatter is always worth a visit. The "Kupferschmiede" is also a good place to stop for a bite to eat during opening hours and the path along the field offers a great view of the Marienrode monastery. Only the last little stretch along the road is not so pretty.

A nice little walk for those with sure footing. A machete would have been an advantage. If we hadn't passed signs and benches every now and then, I would have thought it was a trail used by wild animals. Magical mountain meadows, full of flowers, butterflies and other insects.
