Great run around the vineyards, oak forests and Provencales shrubs (garrigue) between Saint-Victor and Saint-Laurent (partially signposted as GR42), with a strong northern Mistral wind. Avoid the Chemin de Balouvières, as this path ends in a vineyard and does not connect to the Chemin de Malmont.

Alternative higher route via Pas de l’Écharasson - still offering great views of the valley (be careful at viewpoint edges) while drier and further away from the cliff edge compared to the sign posted way between Grotte des Gaulois and Porte du Diable. The right turn from the path between Le Devet and the Grotte des Gaulois is easy to miss.
