Today was all about my childhood memories! 😍

Today we went from the hotel to the Rietburgbahn, took the cable car up and then continued up and then steeply down over beautiful forest paths. 4 days of hiking with the hiking group in the Palatinate!
Our first hike took us from the car park at Hambach Castle via the Pälzer Weinsteig and the Pälzer Keschdeweg back to Hambach Castle. Beautiful hike on some beautiful paths!
Parking day ticket 2€, entrance to the castle 6.50€.

Unfortunately, we didn't save the most interesting trail for our last day of the hiking symphony 🤷. For me that was the most boring. Very many forest highways, few narrow paths, few views. The climbs were fortunately almost all in the shade, it was very hot today. But there were many wooden carved figures

The Himmelssteig is a very varied premium hiking trail. Everything your heart desires! Sometimes it's so steep that you wish there were steps, but there aren't any. And still comfortable to walk...

Today there was a hike with the hiking group and due to the weather I chose this hike. It runs 99.9% in the shade and very often on narrow paths.
2 small detours can be planned out if you want to hike the tour. The first time I took a wrong turn, the second time a narrow wooden bridge that used to exist

Today was stage 2 of the Diemelsteig from Wirmighausen to Schweinsbühl. Weather was 100% better than yesterday!
The Diemelsteig absolutely deserves its rating as a quality hiking trail! It is signposted in a completely safe way, no preparation necessary! Very little asphalt, almost exclusively natural

Today, on our third attempt, the hiking group finally set off through the vineyards around Strümpfelbach. After some people dropped out due to illness, we had 11 people.
Along the high trail and in the village, several sculptures by Mr. Nuss are displayed. The village also houses the Sculpture Museum
