Parking available.
Next time I would take my route via Klostergang and Kleidersellerweg instead of taking Ebertallee to the Waldforum.
Note the opening times of the Waldforum and the Teetied/Café.

We visited the fortress. Small museums, restaurants, well-preserved buildings. Entrance fee 15 euros per person.
The view is worth it.

The way back went along the Elbe back to Bad Schandau, a good 5km. There is also a bus connection.

Short hike with the kids. They also had fun in the outdoor adventure world. Playground, marble run etc.

The tour begins in Marienhagen and leads around the quarry. From the Leinebergland balcony, you have a fantastic view. We could see as far as the Brocken – 67 km.
