A family trip to the Moritzburg Art Museum in Halle an der Saale, Leipzig's smaller and more charming sister city.
I was particularly delighted to rediscover Norbert Wagenbrett's painting 'Encounter,' which had already made a lasting impression on me at the 10th Art Exhibition of the GDR in Dresden in 1988 when I was very young.
