From Zvyozdnaya to Sortavala
Route: From Zvezdnaya metro station to Sortavala via the “Sortavala” highway. Mostly excellent road conditions, though the shoulder is not very wide. Beautiful scenery along the way. Important! You must carry a passport — there is a passport checkpoint en route. Important! Just before the checkpoint, there is a café — I recommend stopping there for a snack, as there will be no cafés, shops, or gas stations afterward. Also, make sure to stock up on water before crossing the passport checkpoint. Important! The stretch from Lakhdenpokhya to Sortavala is the most challenging part of the route: many elevation changes, requiring experience and stamina; narrow shoulder; stay cautious and remain alert — this section has a high accident rate.

Orehovskaya ecotropa
Потрясающее велопутешествие, которое смогли завершить за день не спеша. Много спусков, много подъемов, есть где искупаться по пути, мало труднопроходимых и болот, мест и прекрасные виды леса. Самым трудным было преодоление песчаных участков, потратила на это часа 2. Рекомендую проехать по этому маршруту, он потрясный!
