It was a strenuous day in fairly warm weather. In the morning we went to the fitness and motor skills park and then went on this strenuous hike. The path was tough. In parts it was still very muddy and in parts it was completely overgrown. The navigation worked really well. A little tip: take enough water and snacks with you.

Such a beautiful landscape. We took the tram to Trotha and from there we set off. You can always just let your eyes wander. This tour can also be done on foot and you can stop off in the Saalekiez with a wonderful view of the Saale. You can eat a wonderful pizza in Ciccio and then take the ferry across

From the Elsterquelle to the village cafe
After we finally discovered the Elsterquelle, we wanted to go straight to the village cafe. It was quite easy to walk through the forest, but we didn't find it so nice at the end on the road. But the visit to the cafe is worth it.
