First, walk through the old cemetery and discover all the hidden pillars. It's a lovely place for a stroll.
Once you reach the cemetery in Huckarde, along the stream, under the underpass, you can take a nice walk around the lake in Wischlingen.

The castle used to have a café. Unfortunately, the grounds are now only open to the retirement home and visitors.
But it's a very beautiful site. Historically interesting, and the surrounding wooded areas are also lovely to explore.

We set off from the Schlosshotel Brilon Wald (highly recommended) and wanted to try a new route. Unfortunately, we lost track of time a bit and ended up taking a shortcut.
But at the Ginsterkopf lookout point, we were able to truly unwind! ⛰️🌞
