Schinderhannespfad 1. Hälfte: Kastellaun-> Simmern
Der Schinderhannespfad führt in voller Länge mit 38 km von Kastellaun nach Gemünden und lässt sich hervorragend in Simmern halbieren, da dort etwa die Hälfte geschafft ist.🌳🌲
Für mich/uns steht der Schinderhannespfad in enger Verbindung zum Bergischen Land, da die Strecke perfekt zur Vorbereitung auf die Bergischen 50/25 geeignet ist.🥾🏅

Traumschleife Domblick
Die Traumschleife Domblick begeistert auf den ersten Kilometern mit einigen schönen Waldpfaden und endet hintenraus mit typischen Hunsrücker Wiesenwegen. Zwischendurch gibt es viel hübsche Aussicht über Täler und Höhen des Hunsrücks, dank Herbst besonders schön.🍂

Bachwanderweg Simmern
Nach einem ganz wunderbaren Brunch mit Kollegen:innen im Pop-up-Café Blum ging mit ein paar davon zu einer Runde auf dem Bachwanderweg.☕🥾
Dieser startet und endet eigentlich am Simmersee, wo auch wir auf dem Rückweg im Wirtshaus noch eine Rast auf der schönen Terrasse einlegten. Herrlicher Frei-Tag.☀️

For the 10th anniversary, the organizers of the Bergische 50 organized the first time so that you can do the 50 km on Saturday, and if you haven't had enough, you can add the 25 on Sunday. A gift I couldn't refuse, so I booked the combo package back in June of last year.

With a rather mediocre weather forecast, the second half of the Schinderhannes Trail from Simmern to Gemünden was on today.🌧️
The weather gave us the opportunity to test our rain gear again. The waterproofness of our footwear was particularly tested, but less by the occasional splash of rain from above

Today we took advantage of a dear colleague's generous shuttle offer to drop us off in Kastellaun and walk back to Simmern. 🥾
Contrary to the assumption of some who only know the route by car, this is a lovely way to spend a Friday morning - especially on such a beautiful spring day.☀️🌼

Today, the Masdascher Burgherrenweg dream loop was on the agenda, and to hit the 20 km mark, we started and finished in Bell. This extended the dream loop to include the path through the Wohnroth Valley on parts of the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig.

Today's dream loop, Via Molarum (a view of mills, so to speak), took us from Horbruch to Wahlenau and back via Krummenau. Outside of the forest, we always had a view of the Idarkopf.🤩
The route itself begins, as @Christitan so beautifully described, along typical Hunsrück meadow paths, where a cold wind
