A beautiful tour from Garmisch train station through the Partnach Gorge and up to the Eckbauer peak. From the summit, you can also take the cable car back down to the valley (one free one-way ride is included with the Garmisch Guest Card, as of 2025).
The tour is also very doable for families with experienced children.
