Auf unserem Ausflug "Das Beste von Geiranger" fahren wir u.a. auf den Dalsnibba. Auf der Auffahrt schlägt das Wetter um und auf 1500m ist plötzlich Winter ! Schneeregen mit orkanartigen Böen peitschen uns ins Gesicht.
Aber das gehört eben auch zu Norwegen und seinen Fjordwelten.

City or harbor tour through Piraeus and then, without visible city boundaries, to Athens to the highlight of the day, the Acropolis. There was also a photo stop at the 1896 Olympic Stadium. The archery competitions were also held in the stadium during the 2004 Games.

Today we had a trip to Mount Etna on the agenda. We went up to about 2000 m where you can see craters 3 and 4 from the 2001 eruption. We didn't go all the way up. On the way back we got out in the center of Catania to look at the numerous historical buildings and squares.

Today we had a day trip to Rome and the Vatican City on the agenda. From the port of Civitavecchia we took the bus to Rome. Our German-speaking city guide joined us there and we went partly on foot and partly by bus through Rome from the Colosseum via the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, as well as

Today we docked in Souda on Crete. We took the bus to nearby Chania. A stroll along the harbor promenade and the old town, as well as along the Venetian fortress wall in the harbor, gave us a wonderful day.
