Today the weather changed, it became muggy and warm and it felt like it was 80km... Interesting little village drives with wine taverns... very nice

Great stage, the last 40km of Luxembourg to enjoy again, then steeply down to the Moselle and after a short, crisp rain shower with sun and clouds to Trier... Porta Nigra, ice and then another 100 meters to the hotel, phew - but once at the top everything was fine, nice room, good restaurant...

The weather was great, almost too warm for the hilly route, we sweated a lot. But a beautiful, varied and interesting tour, if you have time, stop briefly in Arlon and have a look around...

First Ardennes stage completed, the route avoided most of the steep sections and everything. The rest was bearable... it was fun

After 60km in light drizzle and grey on grey, we had lost interest and took the train to Sedan in Charleville-Mezières.... the last 26km took us to our destination in Sedan in 25 minutes.

The ugliest stage so far by far... the beginning behind Maastricht is beautiful, as are the first few Belgian kilometers, but then it gets really ugly, port facilities next to Hagenanlage, hardly any nature, lots of industry, it goes on until Amay...
Hopefully it will be nicer again after Dinant....

Our starting stage on the Maas cycle path... varied and often directly on the Maas... but after the train transfer to Venlo and getting up very early, we were really exhausted in the evening...
