I follow the red markings on the ground. The "red trail" through Szczecin leads past 42 sightseeing spots, each one explained on a sign in several languages. I wouldn't have noticed many of them otherwise. A worthwhile circular tour!

The inspiration for this loop around the Schönerlinde ponds came from Komoot and I can only recommend it! There is hardly a soul around at this time of year, but there are plenty of birds to watch 🦅🐦🦢
... at the end I missed the turnoff to the S-Bahn, so you can skip the last loop...🤦♀️

It has always been my goal to cycle the entire Finow Canal in one day. I made it happen yesterday. A beautiful 50 km route, but it is relatively narrow in places and you have to share it with pedestrians and other cyclists.
I started in Niederfinow and advise against following my section km 43-48 because

The stage starts in Wustermark, which can be easily reached by bus even without the RE4. The dirt road right at the beginning was barely recognizable, alternatively you can continue on the Mühlenweg.
