Our hiking trail, the Mellenseer Heideweg, is now available online. It is the only hiking trail that was not designed as a circular route. Due to its sometimes very sandy surface, the Heideweg is challenging and you should be in good shape for the 9 km.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this hike will be repeated in 2026 and that everything will work out the way it did this summer with the information in the school and local history museum and the two ring ovens in Klausdorf on Lake Mellensee, the small geo-path on the ground, where people worked

The start and finish of the Saalow Mill Trail is the Mellensee Adventure Railway. Here you can refresh yourself in the summer months or play a round of mini golf. :) A varied route awaits you here, around Saalow. Have fun hiking.

Today we invited people to a spring hike around the Schulzensee.
Numerous hiking enthusiasts accompanied us on this summery spring day. We also had coffee and cake to refresh ourselves and so we all managed the 8 km hike well.

A new hiking trail for the community at Mellensee is being developed. A lot needs to be done about this: authorities need to be informed, parcels researched and new signs created. In perfect hiking weather 🍁, around 40 hiking enthusiasts met today for an autumn hike. 🥾 The route took us around the small and large Zeschsee lakes, offering beautiful views of the water.
