I set up my tent at the campsite, changed out of my bib shorts, showered, and rather spontaneously decided to cycle back into town for some shopping on my empty bike. The campsite only had crackers.

After the heavy rain the day before, the morning was sunny and warm. This allowed me to dry my clothes, shoes, tent fly, sleeping bag, and sleeping mat on a clothesline and a rock. Recommendation for future nights: book open campsites with morning sun.

Around 7 a.m., in the drizzle, I took down my tent, which was covered in a poncho, and packed the inner and outer tents separately. The bike had been exposed to rain overnight but seemed to be fine. I refilled my water bottle and set off without coffee.

I had expected a headwind, but from Stralsund to Bergen I had to constantly fight against it, probably 25-30 km/h. I spent almost two-thirds of the route in low gears, as if I were climbing mountains.

The gravel and forest track bypass between Zirkow and Pantow was more fun than last time on the way back, perhaps because my leg wasn't tired yet and the direction was more downhill-oriented. You can ride more carefree on a mountain bike here than on gravel bikes, but I still made relatively good time

Neu Reddevitz and Gobbiner Haken were good tips. A beautiful, cozy area with few, if any, people.
