A nice alternative to the Malcesine cable car. The drive there is already worth it! Pictured. However, it is only the way back, so you have to calculate double the time and distance.

After all the rain, the path was hardly passable. Two bridges were washed away and countless trees were lying across them. The mud was so deep that we sank almost up to our ankles. Thank God we had high, waterproof shoes on. It was an adventurous tour, but very beautiful.
