After a sleepless night we quickly went to Parma. The weather was excellent all day long. I arrive at the Student's Hostel Parma at half past 11. In the hope of being able to recover a bit and to find a hammock quilt, I am staying here for two days.

A break was badly needed. I've had a nasty cold for the last three days. Which is partly why the train took me to Verona.
Even today (May 17th) I prefer to take it easy, but I'm moving a bit further south. Hoping for better weather.

The day was moody through and through, first cloudy, then beautifully sunny and finally rainy disgusting. Fortunately, the second campsite has a place for my hammock & then there was a final soup on the camping stove :)

Despite a three-day break due to the weather, we're finally going on. Due to the luggage situation and a partly rainy day, the decision to take the train up the Brenner Pass was easy for me. The journey from there to Brixen via Sterzing was fantastically beautiful.
Tomorrow we'll continue to Bolzano!!
