I started in Mespelbrunn at the hiking club parking lot. I immediately went to Mespelbrunn Castle. Of course, I took the guided tour there, which cost just €6.50 for an hour and a half. I highly recommend it.

Day 2 began with the climb up the Dorfprozeltner vineyard. Despite the rain, there was a great view at the top, followed by a game reserve. The path to Sellgrund is also particularly beautiful.
