The first part is nice but close to the A12. But then quieter and when you walk along the water and look over the heath on the other side ... so beautiful! Only part of the route I was not allowed to walk because of the breeding season.

This is a really nice walk. Beautiful forest. But also plains and lots of water. The weather was also great! And you park your car on the site at a pancake restaurant. That could be a nice ending...

Made my own tour for the first time. Didn't quite make sense. I will change that.. But this is a very nice walk! Very varied. Small paths through forest. Over moorland and sand plains. A small piece of MTB path. (Sorry) Lots of horse trail. So if it has rained a lot it might be better to take a different

Nice walk. Only because of the rain a number of paths were flooded and not passable. Hence an alternative route. But it remains a beautiful area that I would recommend to everyone

I still think this is such a beautiful area. A bit of sand today. I would like to show her (my daughter) the part at radio kootwijk tomorrow. The heath. Also so beautiful

This is such a special area. The route runs through old pine forests interspersed with sandy plains .. highly recommended. In the beginning it is busy but eventually you lose everyone and you are alone. You will occasionally meet a mountain biker. They also have great trails of their own here

Yes. So special. You imagine yourself in southern Germany. Hilly. With winding paths. You make some altimeters...
I wouldn't hike this on a Sunday. Busy area

This is a really great walk. Right through the peat. It's like walking through a swamp flanked by heather. With beautiful views.

This is a really nice walk. Super varied. The heath is grand and beautiful and then also nice little paths through the forest. Quite a busy area. So go early.
