Pleasant climb along the Lac du Bourget to then join the via Rhona. Be careful, very busy road from Seyssel to the Châtel crossroads. Then we climb to pass through small villages in the middle of orchards and pastures. The arrival in Bellegarde is very tricky, national road with no clearance for bikes

Crossing Grenoble very well equipped for bikes, we went up the valley to Lac du Bourget at the foot of the mountains 😍.
The beautiful via is always well signposted, very pleasant to ride.

The beautiful via is very pleasant, many green or shared paths little used@, in the middle of the walnut trees and along the Isère at the foot of the mountains 🤩.
Arrival in Grenoble perfectly safe for cyclists.

We went up the via Rhona to Valence (magnificent parks along the Rhone), still with a strong headwind, then turned onto the beautiful via: very well signposted and very pleasant between greenways and shared paths that are not very busy, to arrive at the foot of the Vercors.

We went up the via Rhona still with a strong headwind, saw some pretty bridges, in particular the Rochemaur footbridge. We arrived in Ardèche, in the Eyrieux valley.

We rode between vineyards and pretty little villages following the Côtes du Rhône road. At Pont St Esprit we joined the Via Rhona, perfectly signposted but with a strong headwind.

Mix between shared paths and greenways. Part of the vaunage path is not passable with touring bikes. Discovery of Sommière and small villages like Junas, followed by Nîmes 😍 to arrive at the Pont du Gard 🤩.

Last stage to arrive in the Haut Jura, beautiful landscapes at the foot of the mountains, then at the top. Beautiful climb which is done without difficulty, taking your time on the GTJ. Arrival at 1270m altitude.
