By bike from Strausberg to Julianenhof. There, in the converted barn of the former estate, there is a NABU bat station with an exhibition on the ground floor. Return trip from the Julianenhof bat station after the stone breaker demonstration and a visit to the ice cellar, the bats' winter quarters, back to Strausberg.
The route from Ihlow to just before Klosterdorf is "a bit sandy and rutted" in the first part, up to Prädikow, but then it's great.
