From the weather forecast today should be the worst day of the week. It worked. I had to put in a longer stage to the next accommodation. Half of the way there was continuous rain. The clothes in the backpack stayed dry, the rest not. But a warm shower works wonders. I have now switched from the Schmuttertal to the Lech Valley.

Today we went over the southern edge of the Nördlinger Ries through a varied landscape to Harburg. After it was initially very cloudy from the night, it cleared up again during the day and so I was able to take a few nice pictures in good hiking weather. The first marathon of my son's girlfriend in Hamburg occupied me the most.

There were gifts along the way today. The first thing I met was the first Thruhiker who was on the romantic hiking trail from Würzburg to Füssen.
