This falls under the category of "I've always wanted to go there." It was very interesting to learn a lot about the animals and their tragic fates. Mind you, it's not a zoo. Rather, it's a rescue and rehabilitation center for abused animals. But as long as you follow the rules, it's definitely a worthwhile destination.

I also wanted to see some beautiful hiking areas and climb the Schönbuch Tower. But the best part was that it finally rained again. It's still far too little, but at least I know what rain feels like again 😉.

We took advantage of the sunshine again and enjoyed the fresh air. The trail was very pleasant to hike. Here and there, you can see things slowly but surely sprouting. Thank goodness. Spring is finally here again.

How beautiful is that? We were recently at the Traumpfade in Ludwigsburg. They were great. But this one will amaze you and really put you in the Christmas spirit. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant and friendly city. If you like churches, this is the place for you. It is not for nothing that Vilnius is called the Rome of the East. For those interested in history, I recommend a visit to the former KGB prison.

It's wonderful to hike along the paths. Almost all of the paths here are natural. There's maybe a little gravel here and there. And every step you take gives you a view of the numerous lakes. A really beautiful area.
