The northern stretch to the lake is the one for getting access to a swim.
The northern loop segment is a more open and grassy old road. The southern segment is more wooded trail. Plenty wide.

This path is the return trip. Do it in reverse, starting from the old cement pier on the beach. It goes through the woods, up over an old quarry area and ends with a beautiful view from the cliffs looking east towards Ricky Martin's private island and the US Virgin Islands in the distance.
