The drive to the seminar was a bit hillier than expected.
Moreover, the rural population of Hesse doesn't seem to understand the social distancing rule when speeding along their county road. The drive from Löhndorf is more pleasant.

After a lovely afternoon with M and her husband T, wonderful conversations, a delicious barbecue, a veritable show cooking session on the rock salt block, and a splendid scorching heat in an idyllic garden, I returned to the campsite under cover of night. There are no mountains here, at most a headwind. The trip from Stade to Krautheim was mostly on the road behind the pond. It was a pleasant ride because there were hardly any cars. I found the lifeboat factory interesting. It has a test and training facility right on the Elbe River.

The chicken feed was all gone, so I had to go to the Kiebitzmarkt in Bensheim to get some.
It was hot, and on the way back I had a bit of a counter-world experience. But it was still fun.

I recommend a trip to Halle an der Saale. There are wonderful paths and parks along the river. It's a great place for cycling; the paths and trails are beautiful. It's also very suitable for canoeing.
