A rolling and fairly flat stage to Brioude, then taking the direction of Lavoute Chillac, the landscape changes, we go up the Allier which becomes wilder. The road climbs and meanders little by little... It is a well-deserved break that we take in Blassac.

For the second stage, we have chosen an alternative route, which crosses the Livardois. If the stage was more hilly, it was also prettier and allowed us to avoid the main roads, so I recommend going through it! Pretty views of Le Puy.
In the evening, we slept at the "Château des Aiguilles", rather disappointed

After a good night's rest and a start in the rain, we quickly reach the canal. The weather is clearing up, and despite a few clouds the rest of the stage takes place without bad weather! The fourth stage did not go as planned... With the storm threatening, we decided to stop at Langeac and take the train to the end of the stage at Alleyras.
