Wonderful late summer tour around the Schaalsee. 3 trails were impassable or overgrown, so it is better to stay on solid paths or roads if possible (especially on the east side). Otherwise, the tour is great to ride, also great for motivated organic cyclists.

Tour conclusion:
My most beautiful lap through Holstein Switzerland so far. Very varied paths from simple trails to gravel and stable forest paths to asphalt - everything is included. Can also be used by beginners with any type of bicycle. Most of the time directly or close to the water and many sights

My summary:
The tour was often quite demanding, but it offered a lot of variety, challenge and driving fun.
Especially the trails and the overgrown and slippery forest paths (which sometimes end in nowhere) are not for beginners.
The best vehicle on this trip is definitely the MTB.

Nice mixed day tour with city flair, beach feeling and many variants of trails.
Asphalt-off-road ratio felt like fifty-fifty.
Can be used with any type of bike, very varied in every respect and many options and options for culinary breaks and sightseeing along the way.
Conclusion: The tour was great, I will repeat it.
