Very beautiful, lively old town. We really liked the iron house, the old town hall, narrow passageways and the nice places to linger.

Beautiful route with lots of birdsong, beautiful views, towers, nice stones, fresh Alster near the Devil's Bridge, nice elevation and an unexpectedly hearty Mooshütte with delicious food and top service.
Very relaxed and easy to hike route. 👍

After the 5-lake tour there was still time for a hike to the Holzbergturm. That was doubly worthwhile. First, you get a great panoramic view of Holstein Switzerland and the surrounding lakes. And secondly, a charming hiking trail partly through the free animal park enclosure.
An all-round successful day.👐
