We avoided the elephant arch and that made it perfectly feasible. Lovely views at the top. Descent is quite long and steep so need good grips and preferably some sticks

Easy but very pleasant and varied hike. Cool weather too compare to the seaside and south of the island. Lots of lush landscape.
