A wonderful hike, which is easy to do with public transport. From the imposing Simmen Falls it goes steadily uphill via the Barbara Bridge, where the Gist cools you down nicely. A wonderful route with absolutely no traffic. On the uphill climb, you're in the shade. The return journey by boat is much better than taking the busy main road.
