A frosty day, but with a lot of sun invited to go hiking. The Bitterfelder Bogen, the Holzweißiger Ostsee and the Goitzsche are worthwhile in every season.

Today was "Advent in the Vineyards" on the Unstrut. 2G rule, that's probably why it wasn't as crowded as in pre-Corona times. In addition to mulled wine from the vintner, quince punch, for example, various fat braces, bratwurst, soups and cakes. There was also musical entertainment.

Many thanks to Eckard for the interesting tour through a slightly hilly landscape in the sunshine. Over 20 years ago there was a garden where the castle pond is located. No more water is pumped out as it was during mining times.

Unfortunately again without sun on the way in the extensive floodplain of Elster and Luppe. The manor Ermlitz with its park is well worth seeing. Guided tours are possible with advance notice, today only viewed from the outside.

6 hiking enthusiasts set out from Halle today to hike in Richter's area. And with the active support of Richter and Karo, who had adapted my tour plan in advance to the local conditions, it was a great day in cloudy weather, but not a gloomy mood.

Completed a route scouted out with Eckard in the fall with minor changes. Very beautiful landscape, but quite warm 🌡️ And with a stop at Lake Kerner.
Anyone who came up with the "glorious" idea of covering the wave with red gravel - doesn't work at all, neither for cyclists nor for pedestrians 👎
