Schöne Braunschweig-Runde ab Rethen
Tour in der alten Heimat: keine Berge aber trotzdem sehr nett! Hab viele Ecken von Braunschweig gesehen, die ich vorher nicht kannte.
In der Mitte ist ein Besuch im HEH-Krankenhaus, den man natürlich überspringen kann.
Und ein Abschluss im Rethener Dorfkrug ist immer eine gute Idee 😉

After we enjoyed this year's Lanzelot so much at Bike & Burg in June, we simply repeated it today. We just skipped Wildenstein Castle and chose a slightly gentler climb to Geishöhe - well, if you think it's "gentle" to lift the bikes over a large gate twice 😂. The three of us just about managed it

Nice Sunday ride, but the path along the Loisach was impassable because it was completely overgrown with nettles: so we went back and took a detour. As a reward for almost 40 kilometers, we treated ourselves to a wheat beer at the beach bar "Kleines Seehaus" 😉

A bit chaotic at the beginning: I got a little lost 😉
But then the ascent was largely through the shady forest, the descent was over beautiful S1/S2 trails and the highlight at the end was the gorge!

Up in the blazing sun and down on slippery hiking trails...at least at the end there is a good rideable but also challenging trail

Nice tour to the Annahüttensattel, where the ascent and descent are pure forest paths (at least if you stick to the prohibitions), but at the end there is a nice trail program partly on the prepared paths (S1/S2) from Lake.Bike.
Nice ending because it was unexpected, I was already afraid of descending on asphalt 😉
