Monday, an extra early start for this walk. Hanneke wanted to see the sun shining on the Moerputten bridge. She succeeded. Always a beautiful route close to home

Today a new attempt. After I deleted the app and reinstalled it seems to work better. So we give it a try. We set off early and via nature monuments we looked for a place where there are many birds. It was a beautiful walk. We also spotted deer along the way. And what a wonderful walk with all that bird

There's been some trouble with komoot lately, which means I'm more occupied with the app than with the walk. The route isn't registered if I don't keep the app open. It also keeps zooming out to the entire map of Europe.

Maybe I should download it again. Does anyone else have this problem, and a solution

After a good night's sleep and a nice breakfast, we are on our way again at a quarter past eight. Back towards Leuth. But now via the floodplains and dikes. What a different landscape, but also very beautiful. Today again wonderful walking weather. Every now and then we come across a cow or a horse

From the Duivelsberg we continue on route no. 18 of the Limespad. Here too we walk via beautiful paths. And then we come closer and closer to Nijmegen. Many trees are in bloom. It is enjoyable. Although it also takes some getting used to walking with a large backpack. We want to practice with this and

Today Sunday we start with rain on our way to our starting point in Leuth. The route had to be adjusted, because we actually wanted to walk above and below the Waal from Millingen to Nijmegen. But luckily I discovered in time that the ferry was not yet in service. That is why I chose Today 1.5 route

Today to Volkel for a sponsored walk. Beautiful route through the area of my youth. It was also good walking weather. Sometimes a fresh wind, but with the wind in the back and the sun it was wonderful.

Because of the beautiful weather we chose another walk. We were up a bit late, so we chose a route closer to home. Ultimately a very nice route, although it is very close to buildings and busy roads. There was also a motocross race which made it not always very quiet. But all in all a surprising piece of nature.

What lovely weather. That calls for a nice walk. And that was it. From the Paleiskwartier you can step straight into nature. Beautifully over beautiful estates. Lovely sitting in the sun in the tea garden at Halder and via the Bossche Broek back with a beautiful view of the Sint Jan.

On the advice of a colleague, we went to Cothen. A beautiful route with mostly unpaved roads. What peace. There was also a stretch along a busy road, but that is almost inevitable in our country. The weather did the rest. The sun was shining brightly. Flowers were shooting out of the ground everywhere. Wonderful.
