Brevity is the soul of wit. With a view to the weather forecast today, a short tour starting at the Kettwig-Stausee train station. We first walked a section along the water. Then through forest areas to Hugenpoet Castle, further to Landsberg Castle and in an arc back to the starting point station.

I oriented myself towards the nodes today. The path was too much along the road for my taste, in sections even without an accompanying cycle path. And the signs for construction site detours were missing, pointing in the wrong direction, or lying overturned on the ground. A small minus from me today.

From rural Rheinberg-Orsoy to the former cradle of steel kitchens. The change has been successful and the cycle paths on the former mine routes contribute to a relaxed tour.

Unfortunately, the Ruhr and harbor bridge in Ruhrort is currently closed, so the way back was shortened via the Friedrich-Ebert-Bridge.
