We started in Neudorf with a nice ride on the tourist train to Oberwiesenthal. Once there, the monorail took us to the Fichtelberg. When descending in the direction of Neudorf you often had to reschedule because many roads were very snowy and thus impassable or even locked. We walked mostly on trails

Small tour for the day after a long hike. Magnificent view on the Hochstein and a cozy Baude to stop. Schmalzstullen with cucumber were really delicious.

We are from Szklarska Poreba with the lift on the Reifler. If you want to walk extensively on the ridge, you have to take into account that in October the last departure with the lift is at 16.00 o'clock. That's why we took the time out and planned the descent on foot.
