The Chapel Trail from Neukirchen is a wonderful circular trail that - oh wonder - leads past 10 different chapels/churches. The chapels are described in an accompanying booklet from the tourist association, but unfortunately the route is not 😎. There are signs for the "Chapel Trail" hiking trail, but

With the weather finally sunny all the time, we head from the Uwe Dune in Kampen to Westerland. A wonderful path through the dune landscape with great photo opportunities.

Our hike from List to Keitum always went right along the water. Some places were only passable because of low tide. You don't gain as much altitude on Sylt, but you often walk on sand, which I personally find exhausting.
A highlight of the hike was definitely the Kupferkanne. This cafe is sensational

A beautiful cycle route in the north of Giessen, lots of places to stop for a break, paths that are easy to ride throughout. Interesting how dry the meadows are again - I thought the heavy rain this year would do some good here, but it doesn't seem to help: many small streams are dry again, even swampy

The Four Valleys Tour starts in Bad Endbach and is a picturesque high-altitude trail that leads mainly through forests, meadows and along many streams. Wait, four valleys, what does that mean? - that's right: three peaks! Yay, finally uphill again...😰

Meters, meters, meters, no shortcuts, and nice and high if possible...
Fun tour, anything's possible with mulled wine, even dressed as the Michelin Man through the Taunus mountains...
