Fantastic (and long!) loop in a bit of the world I've only visited once or twice. Unfortunately I chose to walk during a rainstorm, but it didn't dampen my spirits. The story behind the rescued WW2 tank is well worth investigating, and the village houses are alllllll on my "wish I lived there" list

A slow first half to Cockington, walking with a friend and her dogs. We parted ways at the green and I had a speedy walk home at my faster pace. Nice to walk back along a road I hadn't been on before. Weather was beautiful too. Always love the graffiti in the Marlon tunnel. I can always find a new bit of wisdom crawled there 🙏

Beautiful day to explore parts of Porthleven I'd not seen before. Blackberries galore! (and some for breakfast on the way). A few friendly dog walkers to say hello to. Nice to get out early as the town is waking up.
