Nice tour, always up and down. A few more mud holes were built in on the last kilometer ... still recommended.

The first half of the hike is very contemplative and shady through the Bad Kreuznach city forest. The second half is more varied + offers great views. The ascent of what felt like 1000 steps to the Rheingrafenstein castle ruins was quite exhausting for me, but then it came to the goose on the serpentine

A great hike through the forest over meadows, through the vineyards, sometimes up and then down again, in the shade and in the sun. Class! And finally, the wine in the Franz Jäckel winery in Wallhausen, just great!

The last route from B to the start was no longer recorded :-) Of course we also ran. In total it was 11.5 km.
The way is really recommended.

The nicer part of the hike begins at the apex. From there you walk along the water. It gets interesting from where you change the brook side ... that's where the jungle begins :-) over tree trunks, underneath, past the mud or just in the middle. The dog often sinks into mold and has to be in the water

Wikipedia: The Altschlossfelsen are a natural monument (ND) and cultural monument (KD) designated group of red sandstone in the Palatinate Forest on the border with France and the largest rock formation in the Palatinate. They are located on Brechenberg near Eppenbrunn and Roppeviller.
