Wonderful Sunday tour.
The roads are easy to walk. Along the whole route you can see streams and lakes, including wild horses and oxen. The route is also very suitable for children, with educational signs, playgrounds, etc.
Super nice rest areas.
We personally didn't find the castle so beautiful, but the

Wonderful snow hike through the border triangle, past the Huguenot Tower and the Krukenburg (currently closed).
The view from the Huguenot tower over the Weser and Bad Karlshafen was wonderful.
The last 2 km over asphalt were not so nice for comparison through the forest (over stick, stone and mud).

Small round on Saturday:
Short distance through the residential area in Wehrden, then through the forest over hill and dale. The view of the Weser and Blankenau was great!

Great and varied paths, sometimes a bit smooth, but easy to do (the walking sticks were helpful here, as they provided support).
The way uphill was worth it, wonderful views and impressive backdrops.
There are good signs along the entire route, as well as signs and information signs.
This hike is also recommended in summer.
