The military training area for hikers opens its doors for a weekend.

The tour leads near Altenhaßlau in the direction of Eidengesäß in a forest with art objects (with many pottery figures) that can be discovered hidden in the forest. For families, this can become an EXPERIENCE for the little ones. The tour continues along part of the Spessart arch.

Between Heidelstein and Kreuzberg, this tour leads from the Schwedenwall car park eastwards around the Münzkopf past the Gasthof Holzberghof.
The trail is groomed and is easy to ski on. The route is partly signposted.
But with Komoot it is no problem to take a shortcut.
I can warmly recommend the restaurant for eating out.

Along the Lauter, you are on narrow, sometimes slippery paths.

The route runs on asphalt, gravel, forest and meadow paths.
On some short sections of the route, you should be practiced in trail riding.
