At "gå" Montevideo er bestemt et projekt... Byen med sine ca. 1,3 millioner indbyggere er meget vidstrakt, og vi har en dag til rådighed, så vi koncentrerede os om Centro og den gamle bydel, som helt sikkert er de mest interessante bydele. Moderne, Art déco, Bauhaus, kolonialstil - lidt af hvert, delvist

Egentlig ville vi bare booke en tur til Isla de Lobos i Punta del Este, men da havet var for uroligt, blev det nærmest "spildt". Vores gåtur var egentlig længere, men den blev afbrudt af Komoot igen. Og søløverne i havnen var også nuttede! 🤩

Cabo Polonio National Park, with its remote fishing village, formerly a base for seal hunting, is only accessible by authorized four-wheel-drive trucks (round trip approx. €10, parking at the turnoff on National Route 10). The 7 km drive takes about 30 minutes, leading through dunes and along the beach

But appearances are deceiving. During peak season, around 20,000 tourists throng the village of just under 1,000 inhabitants, which has been a popular destination for the hippie and surfing

A good hour's journey (61 km) by catamaran from Colonia del Sacramento, directly across the Rio de la Plata, lies Buenos Aires. So off we went for a day trip to Argentina's capital, where we had already spent a few days 30 years ago.
