Heute absolutes Highlight - der Sonnenaufgang am Pico do Arieiro, dem dritthöchsten Gipfel Madeiras (1818 m) 🌄. Die Sonne geht hier über den Wolken auf und bringt die Wolkendecke zum Leuchten - einfach spektakulär 🤩. Das frühe Aufstehen lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Wanderung auf dem PR 7 - Levada Nova und Levada do Moinho - Madeira 🤩
Traumhaft schöne Wanderung die aber Schwindelfreiheit erfordert, auch Wanderer mit Höhenangst haben nicht unbedingt Freude an dieser Tour. Der Weg über die Levada Nova ist an manchen Passagen eine Herausforderung. Er verläuft an vielen Stellen unbefestigt und ganz nah an meterhohen Abhängen vorbei.
