A short stop in Bacharach.
We took a short tour of Bacharach and collected a few nice impressions, unfortunately far too briefly.

We actually wanted to make part of the way back to the parking lot with a small passenger ferry 😉. Somehow the wait got too long for us and so we went back.

After our first part of Koblenz on foot and by cable car, we had the idea of exploring the "rest" of the city by train.
As Koblenz was 80% destroyed in the war, we had already done the two most interesting things, Deutsches Eck and Ehrenbreitstein.

We parked in Lützel. We then crossed the Balduin Bridge to the Deutsches Eck. From the bridge you have a good view of Ehrenbreitstein Castle. At the Deutsches Eck we looked at the view of the castle and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial, as well as the hustle and bustle. Then we continued on to the castle

From the car park we went past the old train station to the tourist information and across the market square. It was market day and so there was a lot to see. After strolling through the beautiful old town and having lunch at the butcher's snack bar Equit's (tasty, good and cheap) it became strenuous

Start in Bernkastel-Kues.
Sometimes on one side and sometimes on the other, a nice tour over 2 bridges.
The weather was great.
Destination in Traben-Trarbach.
Here we were welcomed back by our loved ones.

Last stop on our Mosel Rhine tour.
I didn't like Bingen that much. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit Klopp Castle.
We walked along the promenade to the place where the Nahe flows into the Rhine.
