Beautiful 1h forest tour from Vaals through Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. At the beginning and end of the tour at the edge of the forest with great views. Lots of extensions are possible.
In dry weather this is also a nice round. But today it was super-smart and I was almost exhausted. Sturdy shoes!

With this little walk you will get to know some beautiful streets of the border town Vaals. Afterwards you can make a beautiful hike through the surrounding area from here.
Parking by car is best on the German side, because otherwise you quickly a very expensive Dutch nodule. Of course it is even better

The hike is quite varied (forest & meadows, plateau, forest). Good footwear is a must for the last third. Half way there is a farm, where it should probably be delicious ice cream. In Teuven and Slenaken there are several cafes for a rest (see for example Tripadvisor).

On this hike you first walk across meadows. In the further course, it goes up a path to the Dutch-Belgian border. After a passage through the forest, it continues on a paved road. The hike is very varied and quite entertaining.
In bad weather, it can get pretty muddy.

Short hike from Vaals to the farm and back via Steppenberg / Vaalserquartier. At the farm fresh milk tapped and eggs brought. Finally nice weather :-)
